The Area 44 Literature
Committee is dedicated to distributing Conference-approved
literature to A.A. groups and members in northern New Jersey. The
committee also supplies the 12th-Step committees (Public
Information, Cooperation with the Professional Community, Treatment
Facilities and Correctional Facilities) with A.A. literature to help
them carry the message. A.A. Groups in northern New Jersey can help
by purchasing their literature directly from Area 44. By purchasing
literature in bulk, at a discount, the Literature Committee sells
the literature at list-price and uses the proceeds for
purchasing literature for those committees. In 2003 the committee
was able to supply 2,000 books and over 22,000 pamphlets to these
12-Step efforts.
The Literature Committee
does not fill orders by mail. Orders can be filled at appropriate
Area 44 and Intergroup functions. See the "When and Where to
Purchase Literature" link below for a list of dates and locations.
Meeting Lists are produced by Northern New Jersey Intergroup must be
purchased through the Intergroup Office.
